Villas Arqueologica Teotihuacan, Mexico: The hotel in Teotihuacan that we have been blessed to stay for over 16 years, is the best place to stay while in Teotihuacan. They are like family and take good care of us. Walking distance to the pyramids and several little local villages. The rooms are very nice and clean and all have private bath's. There's a swimming pool, with beautiful gardens and good security. The overall service is excellent and the restaurant is special with great food and service, they serve in the restaurant, bar/cantina, patio, "palapa," pool side as well as in the garden. There's also a health spa with various types of massages.
Hacienda Clemente Jacques, Tepoztlan, Mexico: A few years ago we came across this beautiful restored Hacienda located in Tepoztlan, Mexico, a few hours drive from Mexico City. The Hacienda offers three floors of bedrooms with bathrooms, large living areas, several dining rooms, patio and beautiful spacious lush gardens and vegetation over looking the valley West of Tepoztlan. There's a warm swimming pool, tennis court and near by hiking trails. A resident family cleans and cooks for the group. It's located about 10 minutes from down town Tepoztlan in a secluded part of the country, with privacy and safety.
